Last week we travelled to Cardiff to provide project support to Cathays & Central Youth & Community Project, a group who want to transform their community centre and maximise use of the whole site, some of which is vacant or not fit for purpose.
While exploring the community centre with the group we were delighted to witness one of the many treasures belonging to Cathays’ past… a disused Bingo Hall.
As soon as we entered the building we were amazed by its grandeur. The value and benefits of the building for the community – past, present and future – spoke volumes.
This building truly delighted us and we cannot wait to see how the project progresses!
