Earlier in November we supported a fantastic group who have come together to create a vision to breathe new life into Fountainbridge, a canalside area near the centre of Edinburgh with a rich industrial history.
The Glass-House ran a one-day workshop for the Fountainbridge Canalside Initiative, a group made up of local residents and organisations passionate about what happens to their place. The workshop provided the opportunity for the group and landowners, interest organisations and decision-makers to meet each other and together explore ideas for the future of Fountainbridge.
Below are a selection of photos from the day:
Fountainbridge Canalside Initiative plans to deliver further open days to their local communities, sharing their learning and inviting contributions through model making and other activities.
We wish them the best of luck on their journey to great placemaking!
Fountainbridge Canalside Initiative also captured the day in film:
