About this event
‘Fostering creative citizens through co-design and public makerspaces’, is a three-year action research project in collaboration with Brunel University London and Tongji University in Shanghai, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and Newton Fund, UK.
The Glass-House and our partners will be hosting a joint sharing event for the research project on 8 September to share our collective findings from research activities in the UK and in China, explore examples of makerspaces in both countries, and share our reflections from co-design workshops on the theme of making in Shanghai. We’ll also share practical tools and resources that we have developed through the research.
There will also be plenty of space for discussion with the research team and fellow attendees on the themes of design and making as a means of connecting and empowering communities. This online event is free but booking is required, please click this link to register.
