ABOUT THIS EVENT
Empowering Design Practices: LIVE
 will create a space for discussion and for sharing stories, as well as present the learning and resources developed through our five-year Empowering Design Practices research project. We will be sharing approaches to supporting community leadership and engagement in the design and adaptation of faith buildings.

The event will include opportunities for knowledge exchange and networking between community groups, professionals and organisations that work in the fields of faith, heritage, architecture and community development and will facilitate the development of ideas and propositions for the future.

Welcome from 9:30 for a prompt start at 10:00. Drinks reception and interactive project showcase from 17:30 till 19:00.

WHAT THE GLASS-HOUSE WILL BE DOING
The Empowering Design Practices project is a collaboration between a number of organisations and individuals including The Open University, The Glass-House Community Led Design, Historic England, National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Historic Religious Buildings Alliance, Live Works, Wright & Wright Architects and Becky Pane.
