On 6 November, Grace Crannis and Myra Stuart from The Glass-House will be running a workshop at the CPD day of this year’s RIBA Guerrilla Tactics. They offer a brief and playful introduction to working with communities and community clients, and the opportunities that can be created by operating as an enabler. The workshop will be an opportunity to explore what it means to use your expertise to draw out the knowledge these groups have, in order to work together for better places.
With topics ranging from practical project tips to gaining a different outlook on the development process, this year’s Guerrilla Tactics conference aims to help architects in two ways: using this knowledge to win new clients and better service them; and encouraging architects to play a wider role so they can influence a project’s direction – from inception to completion.
