One year after launching the Challenge Us! 2024 programme, the Open Societal Challenges team at The Open University is organising their first Challenge Us! Showcase.
Challenge Us! has catalysed an innovative framework for extending the research environment past the confines of academic institutions. The programme has attracted over 70 new partners and is funding 25 co-produced and co-delivered interdisciplinary projects. Challenge Us is pioneering equitable research by extending opportunities to UK charities, proving that research can thrive beyond universities.
This in-person event will showcase the diverse Challenge Us! projects—some nearing the end of their pilot phase, others just beginning. You’ll gain insights into their community-first, challenge-driven research framework and our capacity-building initiatives.
