Join us at two free events in April – in Liverpool and London.
We’re partnering with Civic Voice on their Civic Voice Design Awards Study Tour of the new Alder Hey in the Park Children’s Hospital in Liverpool on Monday 24 April. Alder Hey in the Park was the overall winner of the 2016 Civic Voice Design Awards, an inspiring example of re-imagining what a hospital could be through extensive user engagement. On the study tour, you will hear from those involved in leading the project and get a tour of the complex, as well as explore your own relationship with the design of places and spaces.
On Tuesday 25 April, we’ll be in London for the Big Meet 7, an event by Place Alliance (a movement for place quality) hosted by UCL and coordinated by the Place Alliance’s Urban Rooms Network. The Engaging Communities in Placemaking event will explore and share approaches to creative community engagement and co-production. We’ll be sharing case studies from our work on empowering communities through design.
