We are pleased to welcome a new member of the Glass-House team. Louise Dennison joins us as our WEdesign Programme Manager. Louise will lead on our annual WEdesign event series, helping us to design and deliver our free, public-facing events that bring together communities, design, development, regeneration and housing professionals, policy makers, academic and students to explore design and placemaking and to co-design propositions for change.
Louise is a producer and project manager with extensive experience of developing and producing large scale outdoor art which transforms public spaces. Working in a variety of arts organisations and across artforms, with a specialism in public participation, Louise’s focus has been on making these events and festivals accessible for all, working closely with local communities, schools and individuals to encourage genuine engagement.
The WEdesign Programme Manager post is supported by the Ove Arup Foundation, which is committed to promoting education and knowledge in the built environment through the interdisciplinary nature of design. The Foundation’s collaborative approach is a catalyst in the development of new initiatives and research.
