The sixth series of Glass-House Chats saw us collaborating with a range of inspiring people and organisations who co-hosted sessions with us. Each guest co-host helped us bring focus, expertise and experience to conversations about different aspects of design. We explored a myriad of themes that influence how we shape our places, which included: sustainable heritage; transition and transformation; regenerative co-design; transient communities; multigenerational places; stories and social histories; empathy; democratic systems; designing for encounters and experimentation.

This publication compiles our Chat Takeaways blogs from Series 6, capturing the conversations and some of the golden threads running through the series. We hope it will spark further discussion and debate and encourage others to keep exploring these themes.

We are hugely grateful to our inspiring and generous co-hosts: Cristina Carrasco, Richard Couldrey, Clare de Bathe, Holly Doron, Daisy Froud, Tijmen Kuyper, Melissa Lacide, Elly Mead, Pat Scrutton and Stephen Schwendel Smith.

Thanks also goes to the very many participants from around the globe who stepped into our virtual room for a conversation.

Our next series of Glass-House Chats kicks off in September. Keep an eye on our Events page for information about the upcoming series and our co-hosts.
