Our series of Sharing Place Think Pieces, captured in this publication, brought together a range of contributors across sectors and disciplines to share stories, reflections and provocations on the series theme. The brief we set them was to provoke discussion and debate, to challenge the status quo and to inspire.
Our contributors did not disappoint. Through a range of perspectives and starting points, they explored our relationship with nature, the value of collective action, the power dynamics of land ownership and local democratic institutions, the role of heritage, play, housing, food, arts and culture in creating inclusive and inspiring spaces for connection.
This publication brings together the full collection of Sharing Place: Think Pieces, which appeared on The Glass-House blog between January and April 2025.
