Elly joined The Glass-House as Design Champion in February 2021. She is an architectural designer who values and embeds collaborative design into the heart of her practice.
Elly graduated from the Masters programme at The Manchester School of Architecture in 2020, using her thesis project to explore themes of food security within Greater Manchester, establishing a new design framework based around a systematic approach to issues of access to food, land ownership and community engagement with built projects.
Post-graduation, she initiated a series of community-build workshops in collaboration with her local Market Garden, building design capacity within her area and expanding her facilitation and workshop delivery skills.
She is passionate about producing engaging and accessible resources, opening up architectural and design narratives to enrich the places in which we live, work and play. Elly is also a Ranger at London National Park City, building on her passion for places and nature to help make London greener, healthier and wilder.
