Summer Design Intern from University of Sheffield
Sam has joined The Glass-House team over the summer as an intern through the Transforming and Activating Places (TAP) scheme at the University of Sheffield, where she studies BA History.
She is a second-year student interested in community-led projects and placemaking. She is looking forward to exploring these over the summer, and learning about plenty of new ideas and approaches along the way!
She enjoys working with children. With previous experience using play to encourage emotional development in primary school students, she is especially looking forward to investigating how play can encourage children to take an active role in design and placemaking. She is interested in learning about community dialogue, and how to create safe spaces for ideas to be generated and discussed.
In her spare time Sam likes playing Korfball and meditating.
