Design Champion
Jake is one of our Design Champions, bringing to our team his creative practice which draws on the powerful tradition of storytelling to inspire empathetic, sympathetic, and adventurous attitudes towards city-making, connecting realities, and collective creation of worlds for living.
Jake Graduated from the Architecture Masters Programme at Central Saint Martins, where he used his thesis work to investigate and provoke new strategies for maintenance and “care”, focusing on places sheltering humans, wildlife, and ecosystems. His research formed the foreground for supporting individuals, families, communities, and critters to grow their own capabilities, to learn, live healthier lives, protect, maintain and connect with one another.
In Jake’s spare time, he enjoys looking after his garden, illustrating, lino printing, and cooking up delicious (& messy) storms in the kitchen.
